Eligibility CriteriaEligibility Criteria
- Brunei Citizen or Brunei Permanent Resident
- Minimum age is 21 years old
- Maximum age at the end of loan term is 70 years old
- Employee of Brunei Government, semi-Government organisation or a private sector company accepted by the Bank;
- Pensioners2
- Minimum monthly net salary/income requirements:
- BND1,000 – BND1,500 for salaried employees.
- BND1,000 for Pensioners
1 Applicant must be not more than 60 years of age at the end of the loan repayment period for SPK scheme.
2 Civil servants who are serving early retirement and receiving monthly pensions up to the max age of 70 at the end of the loan repayment period. -

- Valid Brunei identity card
- Child’s Identity Card or Passport
- Latest salary slip
- Last 3 - 12 months account statements if salary account with another bank
- Confirmation of employment letter for applicants under the employment of the Army, Police, Gurkha Reserve Unit, semi-Government organisations and private companies
- Letter of acceptance or confirmation of enrolment from educational institution
- Valid student visa for overseas institutions
- Course fee structure from the Educational Institution
- Estimated cost of living from the Educational Institution (where applicable)

- Assignment of Income/Salary is required.
- All Lending rates are quoted at Effective Interest Rate regardless of method of computation used.
- Effective Interest Rate is pegged to the Bank’s Prime Lending Rate. Any change in Prime Lending Rate will result in a change in the applicable interest rate.
