4.2 Where the premium amount is below the minimum qualifying threshold, the Reward will be Baiduri merchandise in place of vouchers.
4.3 The Bank will contact Eligible Customers via their registered phone number(s) with the Bank with instructions on how to redeem the Reward. Rewards will be processed and made available for redemption within six (6) months from the date the Eligible Customer’s policy is successfully issued, unless otherwise notified by the Bank.
4.4 Eligible Customers are entitled to one (1) Reward for each qualifying policy purchased during the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Customer will not be allowed to redeem multiple vouchers by splitting a policy purchased for the same life assured into multiple policies.
4.5 Multiple Eligible Bancassurance Products purchased by the same Eligible Customer with the same insurer and within the same premium payment term category may be aggregated to qualify for a higher reward tier, based on the total premium amount.
4.6 Rewards in the form of vouchers will be issued for use at designated merchants, as determined by the Bank. Voucher selection is subject to availability and may be substituted with an alternative of equivalent value at the Bank’s discretion. Vouchers are valid only for purchases at the designated merchants and are subject to the validity period and the terms and conditions of the respective merchants. The Bank is not an agent of the merchants and makes no representation or warranty as to the quality of goods or services provided. Any disputes regarding the vouchers or the goods and services purchased using them must be resolved directly with the merchants.
4.7 Rewards are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. They cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or any other form of compensation.
4.8 The Bank reserves the right to rescind the full value of the Reward (excluding Baiduri merchandise) if the policy is cancelled by the Eligible Customer within the first policy year from the policy effective date. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Customer expressly authorises the Bank to recover the equivalent value of the Reward by debiting the Eligible Customer’s account or by such other lawful means as the Bank may determine.
4.9 For single premium or whole-payment policies, only the first-year premium amount shall be considered for the purpose of reward qualification.
5. General
5.1 This Promotion is governed by the Bank’s standard terms and conditions governing the related products and any other documents forming the banking agreement.
5.2 The Eligible Bancassurance Products are underwritten by AIA or Great Eastern. The Bank distributes these products and is not responsible for the underwriting, claims, benefits, or fulfilment of the insurance policies. All applications are subject to the insurers’ underwriting assessment, and acceptance and issuance of the policy are at the sole discretion of the respective insurer.
5.3 The Bank reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion or vary the Terms.
5.4 The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and binding.
5.5 By participating in the Promotion, Eligible Customers consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data by the Bank and third-party service providers for the sole purpose of administering and fulfilling this Promotion in accordance with the Group Privacy Policy. Eligible Customers confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of the Group Privacy Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by the Bank from time to time. 5.6 In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms and any promotional materials related to the Promotion, the Terms shall prevail.
5.7 The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam.
