4.2 The Bank will contact Eligible Customers via their registered phone number(s) with the Bank with instructions on how to redeem the Reward. Rewards will be processed and made available for redemption within six (6) months from the date the Eligible Customer’s policy is successfully issued, unless otherwise notified by the Bank.
4.3 Multiple Eligible Bancassurance Products purchased by the same Eligible Customer with the same insurer and within the same premium payment term category may be aggregated to qualify for a higher reward tier, based on the total premium amount.
4.4 Each qualifying policy entitles the Eligible Customer to one Reward. Eligible Customers who purchase multiple qualifying policies may therefore receive multiple Rewards, subject to Clause 4.5.
4.5 Policies may not be artificially split or structured for the purpose of obtaining multiple Rewards for the same Eligible Customer.
4.6 The Bank reserves the right to recover or claw back the full value of the Reward (excluding Baiduri merchandise) if the policy is cancelled by the Eligible Customer within the first policy year from the policy effective date. Recovery may be effected via deduction from the Eligible Customer’s account or by such other means as deemed appropriate by the Bank.
4.7 Rewards are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. They cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or any other form of compensation.
4.8 Rewards in the form of vouchers will be issued for use at designated merchants, as determined by the Bank. Voucher selection is subject to availability and may be substituted with an alternative of equivalent value at the Bank’s discretion. Vouchers are valid only for purchases at the designated merchants and are subject to the validity period and the terms and conditions of the respective merchants. The Bank is not an agent of the merchants and makes no representation or warranty as to the quality of goods or services provided. Any disputes regarding the vouchers or the goods and services purchased using them must be resolved directly with the merchants.
5. General
5.1 The Promotion is governed by the Bank’s standard terms and conditions governing the related products and any other documents forming the banking agreement.
5.2 The Eligible Bancassurance Products are underwritten by AIA or Great Eastern. The Bank distributes these products and is not responsible for the underwriting, claims, benefits, or fulfilment of the insurance policies. All applications are subject to the insurers’ underwriting assessment, and acceptance and issuance of the policy are at the sole discretion of the respective insurer.
5.3 The Bank reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion or vary the Terms.
5.4 The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and binding.
5.5 By participating in the Promotion, Eligible Customers consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data by the Bank and third-party service providers solely for the purpose of administering this Promotion, in accordance with the Group Privacy Policy available at
www.baiduri.com.
5.6 In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms and any promotional materials related to the Promotion, the Terms shall prevail.
5.7 The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam.
