OVERVIEW

Prior to your branch appointment, it is best to prepare ahead with the required documents below.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Local and Permanent Resident receiving monthly salary or pension (excluding old age pension)

  • Valid Brunei IC and passport (for Permanent Residents, excluding those who are stateless)
  • Latest or previous month salary/pension slip
  • Copy of last 3 months’ account statement (If salary/pension is credited to other bank)
  • Confirmation of employment letter for private sector employees

Supplementary Card applications

  • Valid Brunei IC and passport (for Permanent Residents, excluding those who are stateless)
  • Valid identity card / temporary receipt within its validity issued by the Brunei Immigration Department (for expatriates)

Expatriates applicant receiving monthly salary

  • Valid Brunei green IC, passport and valid work permit
  • Valid identity card / temporary receipt within its validity issued by the Brunei Immigration Department
  • Latest or previous month salary slip
  • Confirmation of employment letter for private sector employees
  • Last 3 months’ account statement (if salary is credited to other bank)
  • Last 12 months’ account statement and salary slip (for variable income applicant)

Application against Property Rental

  • Valid Brunei IC and passport (for Permanent Residents, excluding those who are stateless)
  • Valid Tenancy Agreement
  • Last 12 months’ account statement

Application against fixed or certificate deposit

  • Valid Brunei IC and passport (for Permanent Residents, excluding those who are stateless)
  • Copy of Baiduri Bank Deposit Certificate
  • Original BFB FD certificate (if lien against BFB FD)

Application against business income

  • Valid Brunei IC and passport (for Permanent Residents, excluding those who are stateless)
  • Copy of Business Registration certificate
  • Last 12 months’ bank statement (Personal & Company account)
