    “Baiduri Finance Multi-Rate Savings Account (MRSA) Promotional Campaign (this “Promotion”) Terms and Conditions

    1. Term

    1.1 Participation in this Promotion constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

    2. Promotion Period

    2.1 This Promotion is valid from 1 June 2025 to 31 December 2025 (“Promotion Period”), both dates inclusive, or such other date(s) as may be determined by Baiduri Finance Berhad (“Baiduri Finance”) at its absolute discretion.

    3. Eligibility

    3.1 This Promotion is open to new customers who open and maintain a Multi-Rate Savings Account (MRSA) with Baiduri Finance and deposit fresh funds into the account during the Promotion Period (hereinafter referred to as “Eligible Customers”) at the following Baiduri Finance branches only:

    3.1.1 Baiduri Finance, Head Office at Sumbangsih Bahagia

    3.1.2 Baiduri Finance, Kuala Belait

    3.2 A new customer is defined as an individual who does not hold, and has not held, any savings, current, or fixed deposit account with Baiduri Finance or Baiduri Bank within the six (6) months prior to opening the account.

    3.3 Fresh funds refer to funds not previously held in any account with Baiduri Finance and/or Baiduri Bank and must originate from external sources during the Promotion Period. Transfers from existing Baiduri Finance and/or Baiduri Bank accounts do not qualify as fresh funds. Baiduri Finance reserves the right to verify the source of funds and disqualify entries that do not meet this criterion.

    3.4 For the avoidance of doubt:

    • Single accounts: The sole account holder qualifies as one (1) Eligible Customer.
    • Joint accounts: The joint account holders are collectively treated as one (1) Eligible Customer. Each joint account is considered a separate entry.

    3.5 Customers whose accounts are suspended, closed or terminated for any reason during the Promotion Period will be disqualified from participating in this Promotion.

    3.6 Employees of Baiduri Bank Berhad (“Baiduri Bank”), Baiduri Finance and Baiduri Capital Sendirian Berhad are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

    4. Promotion Mechanics

    4.1 Eligible Customers will earn lucky draw chances based on the amount of fresh funds deposited and the Total Monthly Balance maintained during the Promotion Period. Total Monthly Balance refers to the sum of end-of-day balances across all days within a given month.

    4.2 The Base Month is the calendar month in which the account is opened. The Total Monthly Balance in the Base Month will be used to determine initial eligibility and baseline lucky draw chances.

    4.3 Only increases in Total Monthly Balance due to fresh funds, compared to the Base Month, will qualify for additional lucky draw chances.

    4.4 Eligible Customers who open an account with a minimum initial deposit of BND5,000 during the Promotion Period will automatically be awarded five (5) bonus lucky draw chances, in addition to chances earned based on the Total Monthly Balance for the month.

    4.5 Additional lucky draw chances are earned at a rate of one (1) chance for every BND1,000.

    Example:

    • Account opened in June 2025 (Base Month)
    • Total Monthly Balance as at 30 June 2025: BND30,000
    • Chances earned in June:
    • BND30,000 ÷ 1,000 = 30 chances
    • 5 automatic bonus chances for account opening
    • Total chances for June = 35

    4.6 To further illustrate the accumulation of lucky draw chances, please refer to the example table below:

    “Qualifying Month” means each calendar month within the Promotion Period during which the Eligible Customer maintains a Multi-Rate Savings Account and is eligible to accumulate lucky draw chances based on their total monthly balance.


    4.7 All lucky draw chances earned will be entered into both the Bi-Monthly Draws and the Grand Draw.

    5. Premium Package Benefits

    5.1 Eligible Customers who successfully apply for a Hire Purchase (“HP”) Loan during the Promotion Period will be entitled to the following exclusive premium package benefits:

    • Special fixed interest rate of 3.75% per annum
    • Three (3) additional lucky draw chances per month

    5.2 Approval of any HP Loan application is subject to Baiduri Finance’s standard credit assessment procedures, documentation requirements, and internal approval processes.

    4.3 All HP Loans are governed by Baiduri Finance’s standard Hire Purchase Agreement, including all applicable terms and conditions.

    6. Bi-Monthly Draws

    6.1 Bi-Monthly Draws will be held every second Qualifying Month during the Promotion Period (i.e., July, September, November).

    6.2 Customers who win a Bi-Monthly Draw are not eligible to win in subsequent Bi-Monthly Draws but will still qualify for the Grand Draw.

    6.3 Unused chances from previous months will roll over into subsequent Bi-Monthly Draws.

    6.4 Each Bi-Monthly Draw will award three (3) winners with BND1,000 cash prizes. Winners will be selected randomly by a computerised system and contacted via their registered contact details.

    6.5 Prizes will be credited to the winner's Multi-Rate Savings Account within seven (7) business days of the draw.

    6.6 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other items or cash equivalents.

    7. Grand Draw

    7.1 The Grand Draw will take place after the Promotion Period, on a date determined by Baiduri Finance.

    7.2 Eligible Customers must have an active Multi-Rate Savings Account at the time of the Grand Draw.

    7.3 Three (3) Grand Draw winners will be randomly selected to receive the following prizes:

    7.4 Winners will be notified within five (5) working days of the Grand Draw using their registered contact details. If a winner cannot be contacted or is found ineligible, Baiduri Finance reserves the right to select an alternate winner. Baiduri Finance is not liable for failed contact attempts due to incorrect or outdated information.

    7.5 Prizes must be collected in person or by an authorised representative. If collected by a representative, they must present a valid identification card, a signed and dated authorisation letter from the winner, and a signed and dated copy of the winner’s identification card.

    7.6 The cash prize from the Grand Draw will be credited to the winner's Multi-Rate Savings Account within fourteen (14) working days of the prize presentation event.

    7.7 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other items or cash equivalents.

    8. General

    8.1 This Promotion is subject to the prevailing terms and conditions governing the Multi-Rate Savings Account and any other applicable documents.

    8.2 Baiduri Finance reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice or liability.

    8.3 All decisions made by Baiduri Finance in relation to this Promotion are final, conclusive, and binding. No appeals or correspondence will be entertained.

    8.4 In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and any advertising, promotional, publicity, and other marketing materials relating to or in connection with this Promotion, these Terms will prevail.

    8.5 By participating in this Promotion, Eligible Customers consent to Baiduri Finance’s right to use their names, identification numbers, and images and/or those of their authorised representatives for publicity and marketing purposes, without any form of compensation. This includes website and social media announcements, press releases and advertisements, branch displays and promotional events.

    8.6 This Promotion is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam.

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required.
