    Play It Smart Promotion Terms and Conditions

    1. Term

    1.1 The Play It Smart Promotion (this “Promotion”) is organised by Baiduri Bank Sendirian Berhad (the “Bank”) and is subject to the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

    1.2 Participation in this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

    2. Promotion Period

    2.1 This Promotion is valid from 23 January 2026 until 30 April 2026, both dates inclusive, or such other date(s) as the Bank may determine at its discretion (the “Promotion Period”).

    3. Eligibility

    3.1 For the purpose of this Promotion, “Eligible Customers” refer to individuals who meet either Clause 3.1.1, Clause 3.1.2, or Clause 3.1.3 below.

    3.1.1 New Customers

    New customers of the Bank and Baiduri Finance Berhad (“Baiduri Finance”) who successfully sign up as a new Baiduri Smart member as the main account holder during the Promotion Period either by:

    • crediting a monthly net salary of BND2,000 or more into an account with the Bank or Baiduri Finance; or
    • meeting the Assets Under Management (“AUM”) requirement of BND30,000 or more through a combination of fresh-fund deposits with the Bank and/or Baiduri Finance, and investments in Bonds or Unit Trusts with Baiduri Capital Sendirian Berhad (“Baiduri Capital”).

    3.1.2 Existing Customers

    Existing customers of the Bank and Baiduri Finance who successfully sign up as a new Baiduri Smart member as the main account holder during the Promotion Period either by:

    • crediting a monthly net salary of BND2,000 or more into an account with the Bank or Baiduri Finance; or
    • increasing their total AUM holdings to meet the AUM requirement of BND30,000, through a combination of deposits with the Bank and/or Baiduri Finance, and investments in Bonds or Unit Trusts with Baiduri Capital.

    3.1.3 Existing Baiduri Smart Members

    Customers who are already Baiduri Smart members and have not enrolled in any other products or services offered under Baiduri Smart. Such customers are eligible to participate in Offers under Clauses 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4 only.

    3.2 For the purpose of this Promotion, “fresh funds” refer only to funds placed into accounts with the Bank or Baiduri Finance that:

    • do not originate from any existing account with the Bank or Baiduri Finance; and
    • have not been withdrawn and re-deposited within the thirty (30) days prior to the deposit date from any account with the Bank or Baiduri Finance.
    • Investments with Baiduri Capital may be made using any funds, without restriction on source.

    3.3 Eligible Customers must complete a client suitability and risk profile assessment before investing with Baiduri Capital.

    3.4 Employees of the Bank, Baiduri Finance, and Baiduri Capital are not eligible for this Promotion.

    4. Promotion Offers

    All Offers below apply only to Eligible Customers who meet the specific criteria applicable to each Offer.

    4.1 Baiduri Smart Membership Sign-Up Offer

    4.1.1 Eligible Customers who successfully sign up as new Baiduri Smart members during the Promotion Period qualify under this Offer. For the avoidance of doubt, existing Baiduri Smart members are not eligible.

    4.1.2 The first 200 Eligible Customers as determined by the Bank based on the date and time of successful qualification under this Offer will receive one (1) BND50 travel voucher.

    4.1.3 Vouchers are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash, credit, or other prizes. The Bank may substitute the voucher with an item of similar value.

    4.1.4 Vouchers may be used to redeem goods or services subject to the terms and conditions of the merchant. Any disputes are to be resolved directly with the merchant.

    4.2 Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card Sign-Up & Spend Offer

    4.2.1 Eligible Customers who apply for and activate a Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card (“Eligible Card”) during the Promotion Period qualify under this Offer.

    4.2.2 The Eligible Card must be collected and activated by 30 April 2026.

    4.2.3 Eligible Customers who spend a minimum of BND500 on retail transactions (excluding cash advances, fees, charges, refunds, and reversals) using the Eligible Card within the first thirty (30) days from card activation will receive 5,000 Royal Skies miles.

    4.2.4 Eligible Customers must be members of the Royal Skies Programme to earn the Royal Skies miles.

    4.2.5 The Royal Skies miles will be credited to the Royal Skies membership account within one (1) month of the spending period and are subject to the Royal Skies Programme terms and conditions as may be amended from time to time, available at www.flyRB.com.

    4.2.6 The Eligible Card account must remain in good standing. If the card is suspended, cancelled, or terminated for any reason, eligibility is forfeited.

    4.3 Baiduri Invest Account Opening Offer

    4.3.1 Eligible Customers who open a new Baiduri Invest securities trading account with Baiduri Capital during the Promotion Period qualify under this Offer.

    4.3.2 Eligible Customers must hold an active account with the Bank or Baiduri Finance for settlement purposes.

    4.3.3 The first 50 Eligible Customers as determined by Baiduri Capital based on successful account opening date and time will receive:

    • a waiver of the BND1,000 minimum deposit requirement; and
    • a cash rebate of up to BND100 on brokerage fees incurred for their first two (2) trades completed by 31 May 2026.

    4.3.4 The cash rebate will be credited to the Eligible Customer’s Baiduri Capital account within one (1) month after the second qualifying trade.

    4.3.5 The statutory stamp duty of BND2 remains payable upon account opening.

    4.3.6 Eligible Customers must maintain sufficient funds in their securities trading account to cover all applicable fees and charges.

    4.4 Financial Wellness Consultation Offer

    4.4.1 Eligible Customers who book and complete a Financial Wellness Consultation at the Financial Wellness Centre at Baiduri Bank Headquarters during the Promotion Period qualify under this Offer.

    4.4.2 Eligible Customers who apply for and are approved for any of the qualifying products listed in Clause 4.4.3 following a completed Financial Wellness Consultation will receive one (1) BND20 voucher of their choice (subject to availability) from the following participating merchants:
    i) Supa Save
    ii) Hua Ho
    iii) Roasted Sip
    iv) Digital World

    4.4.3 Qualifying products and criteria:

    Unit Trust 

    Minimum investment of BND 2,000.

    Any Bancassurance product

    Purchase of an eligible plan offered by the Bank under its approved Bancassurance arrangements with minimum annual premium of BND500.

    4.4.4 Each Eligible Customer is entitled to one (1) voucher only, regardless of the number of products approved.

    4.4.5 Vouchers are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash, credit, or other prizes.

    4.4.6 Vouchers may be used to redeem goods or services subject to the terms and conditions of the respective participating merchant. Any disputes are to be resolved directly with the participating merchant.

    5. General

    5.1 This Promotion is subject to the Bank’s terms and conditions for the relevant products and any other documents forming the banking agreement.

    5.2 The Bank may suspend, terminate, or amend these Terms for valid reasons, at any time with reasonable notice.

    5.3 The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion over all matters relating to this Promotion. All decisions are final and conclusive.

    5.4 By participating in this Promotion, Eligible Customers consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data solely for purposes relating to the administration and fulfilment of this Promotion, in accordance with the Group Privacy Policy. Eligible Customers confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of the Group Privacy Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by the Bank from time to time, a copy of which can be found on www.baiduri.com.

    5.5 In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any promotional materials, these Terms shall prevail.

    5.6 This Promotion cannot be combined with any other promotions or special rates.

    5.7 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam.

Important update
19 September 2023

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required.
