Changes To 1-Account

Dear Valued Customer,

Effective 1 October 2021, your Baiduri 1-Account will now be a non-interest-bearing current account. You will still enjoy the benefits of having a cheque book and managing account transactions using Baiduri b.Digital Personal, our digital banking service available via web and mobile app.

    1) What changes will be made to my 1-Account?
    - Effective 1 October 2021, your 1-Account will now be a non-interest-bearing current account.

    2) What will happen to the remaining balance?
    - It will remain in your account.

    3) What about my interest rate?
    - Your account balance will not earn any interest as it will be a non-interest-bearing account.

    4) Do I have to send an instruction letter to the bank?
    - No, changes will be made by the bank and there is no action required on your part.

    5) Do I need to return my cheque book?
    - You can continue to use your current cheque book.

    6) Does this affect my account number?
    - Your account number will remain the same.

    7) I wish to keep my funds in an interest-bearing account, do you have an alternative?
    - For personal account, you can opt to open a normal Savings Account. Account opening process will apply and you will receive a new account number.
    - For company account, please speak to your Account Relationship Manager for further information.
