THE BEGINNING

Established in 1996, Baiduri Finance is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baiduri Bank.

From a humble beginning comprising only eight employees, Baiduri Finance now employs over a hundred employees, all of whom are Bruneians.

Wide Choice of Financial Products

The main activity of Baiduri Finance is Motor Vehicle Hire Purchase financing. It also offers Commercial Fleet financing, Motorcycle financing as well as Luxury Watercraft financing. In addition, Baiduri Finance offers high-yielding savings products such as the Multi-Tier Savings Account (MTSA) and the Multi-Rate Savings Account (MRSA).

Value-added Services

As value-added services to Hire Purchase (HP) customers, Baiduri Finance offers Vehicle Insurance Renewal service and Insurance Instalment Plan. The Baiduri Auto Direct Mastercard Prepaid card, which is issued exclusively to HP customers, provides easy instalment payments via Baiduri’s digital channels including all Baiduri ATMs as well as allowing cardholders to earn Bonus Points and receive discounts at selected Baiduri card merchants.

Multiple Service Delivery Channels

Baiduri Finance has two branches located in the Brunei-Muara and Belait districts. In addition, Baiduri Finance customers can also utilise the Baiduri Finance Mobile App which features an HP ePayment service, attain quotes for their expiring Auto Insurance renewals, calculate loans and submit tender requests on used vehicles. HP instalments can also be made at any Baiduri Bank branch.

International Operating Standards

Baiduri Finance acquired ISO9001 Quality Management Systems in 2003 and was recertified in 2006, 2009, 2015 and 2018. To date, Baiduri Finance remains the only organisation among finance companies in Brunei to have achieved full end-to-end compliance to this internationally recognised certification (ISO9001:2015).
