Make your hire purchase payments from the comfort of your home

In line with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines to practise social distancing during this extraordinary time, we would like to encourage you to make use of the self-service banking channels for your monthly Hire Purchase (HP) payments from the comfort and safety of your home. Avoid crowds and queues to keep yourself, your loved ones and our community safe.

free direct bank transfer

If you do not have a Baiduri account
From now until 30 June 2023, you can make your HP payments using free direct transfers from your account with any bank in Brunei, to a designated Baiduri Finance account. Follow these simple steps to make a direct transfer:
1. Log onto the online banking portal of your bank, and add Baiduri Finance as a beneficiary using these details:

Beneficiary Name: Baiduri Finance Berhad
Beneficiary Bank: Baiduri Bank
Beneficiary Address: Units 1-3, Ground & 1st Floor, Sumbangsih Bahagia, Kompleks Perindustrian Beribi, Gadong BE1118
Beneficiary Account No: 0101112230188

2. Once you have added Baiduri Finance as a beneficiary, select Transfer Services (or Transfers) – Transfer to banks in Brunei (or Local Transfers) to make payment to Baiduri Finance.
Important Note

In the Message/Purpose of Transfer field, please clearly indicate the following:

Pay IC [your 8-digit Brunei IC Number] [your Car Registration Number] HP [Last 8-digit HP Account Number]

Example: Pay IC 31009474 BAG981 HP 34567801
If you have a Baiduri account
Pay more easily using Bill Payments in Baiduri b.Digital Personal, available through our website and mobile app. You can also choose to set up automated direct debits from your Baiduri account or card so you do not have to worry about due dates and payment arrangements.

Baiduri finance mobile app

Payments are accepted with any locally issued credit, debit or prepaid cards. You can also request for insurance and road tax renewals, apply for car financing through HP Online, update personal details and apply for vehicle tender.

  • (a) HP payment using cash via ATM

    Step 1

    Tap on the screen or press 'Enter' on the ATM keypad

    Step 2

    Select 'Baiduri Finance Hire Purchase'

    Step 3

    Enter your HP account number and select ‘Yes’ once you have entered the account number

    Step 4

    Your HP details will be displayed on the ATM screen

    Step 5

    Select ‘Pay Total Outstanding’

    Step 6

    Deposit cash into the ATM slot and tap on ‘Continue’

    Step 7

    You will see the deposit summary. To deposit more cash, select ‘Add Note(s)’

    Step 8

    Review your deposit summary and select ‘Confirm’

    Step 9

    Transaction completed

  • (b) HP payment using Account via ATM

    Step 1

    Insert your Mastercard Cashcard (MCC) into the slot

    Step 2

    Select your preferred language

    Step 3

    Enter MCC PIN Number

    Step 4

    Select ‘Bill Payment’

    Step 5

    Select ‘Hire Purchase’

    Step 6

    Your HP details will be displayed on the ATM screen

    Step 7

    Select ‘Pay Total Outstanding’

    Select ‘Pay Total through Account’

    Enter amount to pay and select ‘Yes’

Important update
19 September 2023

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required. For assistance, contact us at [email protected] or call 2268 637/8/9 during business hours. Thank you for your cooperation.

To strengthen our online security measures, effective 8 January 2024, we will introduce the cooling period feature on our Baiduri b.Digital Personal web and mobile app to prevent unauthorised access.
